It’s not too hard to figure out by ear. You’ll develop your ear training skills doing it. Unless something is WAY too fast to figure out by ear, steer clear of tabs.
it’s Paul McCandless, who is regularly playing with “Oregon”. He’s playing oboe, english horn, bass clarinet, soprano and sopranino sax. here he’s playing soprano along with Coffin, but his solo on sopranino- you can see him changing the horn before and after his solo
i absolutely love this version of Big Country, this whole disc (i have seen the live at the quick DVD and i have it on my ipod) makes me so happy and i just want to play Music all the time. the banjo in addition to the sweet bass line is incredible.
Yeah that duel between Victor Wooten and Jeff Coffin is amazing. If they ever come within 500 miles of where you live go see them. It’s worth the drive. Every show is different; every show is magic.
if you guys have never seen the flecktones live, DO IT. i guarentee you will never forget it. i saw them two nights in a row, FRONT ROW SEATS BOTH NIGHTS RIGHT IN FRONT OF FUTUREMAN. good thing i brought 3 extra pairs of boxers, cuz futureman was leaning over me with his axeitar whatever its called. oh god what an experience…
