is this available on any of his many bootleg releases?

You know what’s funny…… If people at school heard this song but didn’t know it was Bob Dylan they would laugh at me for listening to it. They would laugh at me for listening to Simon and Garfunkel, Donovan, Dylan, etc. Where I live (Los Angeles) it is viewed as geekish music. I couldn’t care less. People don’t understand music at all. This one kid’s all like “I love Led Zeppelin” at my school but then I ask him what music he likes and he’s like “anything but blues and rap.”

    ******….

I always thought Dylan was pretty much over hyped **** that pseudo-intellectuals name dropped. Then I heard Freewheelin’. I can eat my own **** now.

  10. Alanhuntsinseoul Says:

Try and think for yourself. Doesn’t matter how old you are, music can be timeless just as much as it can be dated. Right now, Bob Dylan is timeless. His sentiment is easily felt by people of all ages, so who cares what your peers think. Freewheelin is the only way.

  11. realvisceralista13 Says:

  12. FunBoy15 Says:

if you don’t like folk you might find it hard to relate to his music…

This song is like a honey to my heart! great great tune. As Dylan said : I consider myself as poet, I live like a poet and I’ll die like a poet”. His songs are timeless!

**** off scootie, this song is so simple in its lyrics that it makes it easy for people to relate to, whilst also conveying the deep regret of love lost.

Because it’s emotional and thought provoking music, unlike “shake that laffy taffy”. Bob Dylan and artist like him are always “restarted” to young lames who aren’t mature enough to handle there own feelings, and admit that they are in fact human like the rest of us, well most of us anyway.

  24. FlyingKaveman Says:

My high school was exactly the same. They all listened to garbage-not the band haha. If i said i liked jazz their heads would blow up

  25. magicalzorse2 Says:

damn this is such a beautiful song :)

  26. scootie714 Says:

Bob Dylan is so overrated, I mean he’s good but cmon, he’s not the god everyone makes him out to be.
