I’m a young man. I bought this album after seeing Randy on Letterman. I love it, every track. His humor is quick and savage; he wields a dagger well. And the music! The orchestral arrangements are truly excellent. I will be searching his back catalog and am happy to call himself a new fan. I hope he records another 50 years! And if now, well - a nation turns its lonely eyes to who? Jackson Browne, Jackson Browne, Jackson Browne…
I disagree with throwing all well-known autocrats or people with huge, global visions together. Napoleon, Woodrow Wilson, what do they have to do with Ramess II and Hitler? Would you have F.D.R. and Gandhi in there too?
The romans had a position of Dictator which they gave to one man in a time of crisis for a 6 month period. Caesar was not the first dictator but I know at least one (Cincinatus) was before him.

Entertainers don’t have to be smart or right, they just have to have a microphone. This video proves my point. America doesn’t have to be loved or respected. America is still the greatest country ever established in the history of man.
